Biltong- delicately dried meat, originates in South Africa where it was brought by Dutch settlers in the early 17th century.

This original recipe was perfected in our family-owned butchery est. in 1994 to the desired taste, tenderness and long-lasting freshness. 
Our organic (BIO) beef comes exclusively from grass-fed, free-range cattle from a local farm, raised without hormones and antibiotics.
We use only BIO and natural ingredients with no preservatives or chemical additives.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

  1. In order to provide the desired taste, tenderness and long-lasting freshness, premium cuts of organic (BIO) beef exclusively from grass-fed cattle from a local Slovak farm is selected.

  2. Combination of a selection of BIO spices and a BIO cider vinegar gently accents the original meat taste.

  3. Very slow and closely observed drying process, which takes place at a room temperature, gives our BIOBILTONG the right tender texture and a mild taste.

  4. Sliced and hand-packed following a unique & modern packaging process, our BIOBILTONG lasts for months. As it matures, it tastes even fresher and more tender over time. This is thanks to the added oxygen absorber, high-quality pouches and a unique composition of inner atmosphere.
